This book contains 100 sheets of designs of short-sleeved kimono (called Kosode) stored mostly in national museum or art museum in Tokyo or Kyoto. (100 sheets of Kosode designs are put into the slipcase called Chitsu.)
In the preface it says;
'Japanese traditional kimono is unique and gorgeous that can touch our heart and can edify us. Kimono means a cultural sense for beaty of Japanese people, and should never be ruined as long as Japanese people exist'...
